MEET IVEY

Hi there! I am Ivey Hampton Jones, the heart and soul behind Events by Ivey. I am 25 years old and am married to the man of my dreams, Austin. I am from the Atlanta area but we live in Alabama at the moment. We also have 2 beautiful golden retriever pups who keep us busy! 

 

I am currently working as a dental hygienist but I have been in and out of the wedding industry for many years. I became an accredited/certified wedding and event planner in 2014. I worked for about 4 years at a very well known bridal shop. During my time there, I was able to help brides with anything and everything. From picking the dream dress, to figuring out what colors the bridesmaids should wear and actually styling the bridal party, I was able to be included in many decisions throughout the planning process. 

 

I have always had a passion for all things wedding and after being a bride myself, I know how stressful and overwhelming the whole planning process can be. That’s where I come in! Tell me your vision and I will do everything I possibly can to make it happen within your budget! From just giving direction and helping nail down vendors to full-on planning and day-of coordination, I am here and happy to help! 

 

Although I do specialize in weddings, I have planned multiple events including showers, awards ceremonies, birthdays, etc. I am super organized, detail oriented, passionate, and determined so I am confident I can plan your future events!
